Fair Ambassadors

Amber Cook

"Hello, my name is Amber Cook, daughter of Shawna St.Clair and John Cook. I am honored and thrilled to serve as one of the 2019 Chelan County Fair Ambassadors. I have participated in the Chelan County Fair with swine as my main focus, showing the grand champion overall breeding gilt last year. I brought my gilt home, starting my swine breeding operation, to breed and show her piglets the following year. In addition to my swine operation I have also been running a successful sheep breeding operation since my freshman year, and this season I am spreading my wings to show my ewe lamb Sage. With all of my livestock knowledge and the experience I am soaking up this year as an ambassador, I am planning to pursue a degree in Agricultural Education at Washington State University after high school. I hope to meet you this year at the Chelan County Fair “From Pioneer Days to Modern Ways” this September!
